The Final Countdown!

In 13 day's, the Elledge family boards a plane. This plane symbolizes for us a vessel of promise, given to us ten years ago, to another land the Lord has shown us. Feeling a bit like Abraham and the Israelites, we feel like the angel of the Lord has led us these 10 years, and now moves behind us, to hem us into this strange place that feels like home.

Having said our physical goodbyes to friends and family, we feel a bit like pioneers. Together, the five of us will journey to a place we know God has called us. We are not the same than when we left home almost 11 weeks ago. We carry a deeper burden for the lost in our city of Vienna, a greater hope for how God will spread His message of hope in Austria, and a fuller heart for those colleagues we have gotten to know who carry this same burden and hope for peoples around the globe.

Practical stuff we may want to know:
1. We leave Thursday, March 26th from Richmond, VA to Vienna.

3. We've got alot of stuff to do before now and then!

Honestly, we are ready! This week will be a "last minute" kind of week. We do have classes on Monday and Wednesday and last minute shots on Tuesday and Friday. Thursday of this week we go to Washington D.C.! It's a community wide field trip! We go to D.C., dropped of at Central Station, and our "job" is locate people who live in our countries, speak our language, and eat at a local restaurant that serves food from our country! Gotta love that assignment!

Here's what I'd love from you: pray for us to not get so busy in the doing we lose the beauty of the "being".
I'd also love it if you could begin praying for our landlord in Vienna ... that God would open his heart to the truth of the gospel. He is a follower of a middle eastern religion.
