The Goodbye's Begin

Today is another goodbye.

This time, we say goodbye to Chris' Mom - Shirley.  This is where the rubber hits the road emotionally.  Letting go of this hug requires super natural strength ... trusting in the One that has knitted us together in a Mother/Daughter relationship will also hold us together as we watch each other step away.

I love that God reminds me of His love, His parenting, His Way of planning a time and place where goodbyes won't exsist and steps will always lead us closer to those we love ... and to Him.

In the meantime, we walk in our humanity ... and take our steps. Tears, pits and all ... He's there ... loving us.
