No Internet
Yep. We've been without the Internet at our house. At first, it was a crisis. How would we keep up with insignificant Facebook status' from those we met one time at a conference? How would we be able to check our emails? What about working on a school project? I have a blog! Yikes!
After the crisis phase passed, it became just an inconvenience. Yes, emails do need to be checked. Yes, school work has to be done. Going to a place with free wifi is not top on my list of priorities, but we managed.
Then, it became ... nice. Instead of checking my Facebook, I played Backgammon with one of my girls. Instead of trying to find another hilarious clip from Duck Dynasty on YouTube, we just imitated Uncle Si and laughed until our sides hurt, Jack.
Yep. We've been without the Internet at our house. Not such a bad thing after all!
