Scriptural vs Skeptical

I have a dear friend who challenges me.  Tonight over dinner, her words prompted me to ask myself am I being "scriptural" or am I being "skeptical" about "the Church".

The Church.  Those who call themselves followers of Christ.  Those who live with sails toward the wind of the Holy Spirit.  Those who live as citizens of heaven.  Those who abide, remain, yearn for and lean into obeying a good Father.  Those who don't necessarily regularly attend a building with a name on it.

I still wresting with what "the Church" should look like.  I know what it should not look like.  And, if I don't guard my heart, I will become skeptical.
